I just found Rebble, a project to keep Pebble watches working. Maybe this is what gets me to love my Pebble again.

Den som förespråkar liberal frihet förväntas ofta visa att detta resulterar i att människor väljer klokt och resultatet blir gott. Men människor måste också vara fria att fatta svåra beslut och ta risker.

and tagged it with The Kid's Music Player ΠiFi Music Player I made a slight mistake in a previous post. There needs to be two lines in the terminal to play from Spotify:
mpc add spotify:track:4uLU6hMCjMI75M1A2tKUQC
mpc play
And yes, things are progressing nicely now.

and tagged it with The Kid's Music Player ΠiFi Music Player Apparently it’s more or less impossible to install additional software on an instance of Pi MusicBox, so I’ll try to get Mopidy working on a ”vanilla” Raspian Lite instead.

↪️ Reply to: Eating Alone
Henrik Carlsson took the trouble to record a microcast in reply to my Eating Alone episode and raised a completely new reason for wanting to eat alone: because cooking for and eating with picky children can be a bit of a trial. Good luck with future meals.

While Nintendo is refusing to take my money I might as well throw the question out there; is there any reason to buy New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe instead of Super Mario Maker 2?
@MrHenko I wouldn’t buy it instead of Mario Maker 2. But it is a fun game.
@furstenberg Right now its either one or the other, so I guess that means you also vote for Mario Maker?
@MrHenko That would be correct. :-)
@furstenberg Okay, thanks! Tonight the God of Nintendo was more willing to accept my sacrifice so Mario Maker 2 is currently downloading on my Switch.

10 augusti, 2019 16:40@MrHenko This film blew me away. I saw it first at a second run theater with smallish screens, so I jumped at the chance to see it at the science museum’s jumbo theater, then later in one of the few theaters outfitted with 70mm equipment. Stunning.

11 augusti, 2019 11:57@macgenie That sounds like a lot cooler circumstances than we watched it in. For us it was a 37″ television at home, with the kids literately sleeping on the other side of the wall that the tv hangs on. So the audio and visuals didn’t quite give the impact that I think Nolan was going for. Probably why the music, that everybody seems to think is brilliant, sort of underwhelmed me.
