Finished my rewatch of the first season of Westworld tonight and loved it just as much as the first time. With hindsight, so many of the twists and turns are so clearly layed our before the view.

Tomorrow it’s on to season two!

🔖 Read ”En sån som du”, av Gillian Flynn

Loved this one, as I’ve done with every other of Gillian Flynn’s books. She’s probably my current favorite writer.

Mulholland Drive movie poster

🎞 Earlier this week I watched Mulholland Drive and now I can’t stop thinking about it. What was it that I saw? What did it mean? And why was I so moved by it?

I’m planning to watch it again soon. Also, I read this great analysis of the movie by Film Crit Hulk Smash.

Incredibly useful! ffmpeg and a bit of command line experience is super useful when dealing with video.

Analog(ue) #157: I Just Want People to Like My Stuff

I tried Vignette briefly yesterday and this was the problem for me. It’s not the fault of the app. Seems like a nice app but not for me, given what my contact list looks like.

With that said, the way the in app purchase is setup is great. It found very few photos for me, I figured it wasn’t for me and because it doesn’t charge me money until I want to save the contacts, I hadn’t lost a dime.

I almost got the HTC Vive working as a video slave for the FB360 VR/Ambisonics tools, but there’s something very weird about the motion tracking of the audio.
