Maybe I get more impressed by the Dante technology than I should but I find it super cool that I can patch any outgoing signal in our studios or lecture halls into this Dante headphone amp and monitor them live in my office, without ever leaving my chair.

I’ve been at home with Ebbe for most of today and he’s been quite cranky so I haven’t had much time to think about today’s photo. Just as I was heading for bed I looked around and as I was about to give up I encountered a familiar shadow.

This photo seems like a good seasonal one, since the season is quite ambiguous here right now. The calendar says it’s fall but the sub-zero temperature and the frost and snow doesn’t seem to agree.

Up close with a Focusrite ISA preamp.
I had originally planned to make a similar photo with a mixing console that I introduced to my students today but time ran out and I needed to get home before the kids bedtime so this was the closest thing I could find in my office.
@douglane Here’s my entry for the photo challenge for today.
@MrHenko I used to have one of those!
@craigmcclellan It’s a nice preamp, though this particular one is used almost exclusively for demonstration purposes.
