🎞 Watched: Jiro Dreams of Sushi (2011)
Fascinating movie. Not as entertaining as I had thought but still very interesting.
@MrHenko Exactly my feelings about it. Expected a lot more, but still found it interesting enough.
@maique I wouldn’t necessarily say that it didn’t live up to my expectations. It was very interesting but it was the entertainment part of it that wasn’t quite what I expected.
@MrHenko For me it’s the way people talked about it, but our opinions seem to be similar. I expected a different thing, but can’t quite put my finger on it. Also found it very interesting, a great documentary, on a subject I like, set in a country I love, about the kind of work ethics I respect and would love to see in other places. It was just what I should be expecting, if I hadn’t listened to other people. Hard to explain, but I believe we’re on the same page.
