Fascinating movie. Not as entertaining as I had thought but still very interesting.

For those that can watch ”Sveriges Television”, or SVTPlay, the documentary Jiro Dreams of Sushi airs on SVT2 tonight at 21:20, and is available on SVTPlay for three months. I haven’t seen the movie but plan on doing it tonight.
We’ve been staying with family for over a week and today we returned home to Sundborn. So given that today was travel day, and that we travel by car, I’m impressed that I actually got this far on my rings.

This one was “on tv” tonight and my mother and I happened to catch in a few minutes after it started and it got us hook. A good one!
In my defense, I could either have taken a walk to close the rings, or I could take a bath in the hot tub. I chose the latter.
Apparently yesterday was not the start of a new streak. I’d like to blame the weather again but today that’s more of an excuse than a reason.

Oh. My. God.
I don’t have words to describe how delusional I think these people are.

I don’t mean to sound smug, but it’s totally possible to still live this kind of life. The news, family drama, and injustices don’t invade our life today, we let them in. If we use less social media, turn off notifications, possibly even ignore our friends texts during the day, we don’t need to have these knee-jerk reaction.
Also quit Twitter.

13 juli, 2020 23:24@maique I wouldn’t necessarily say that it didn’t live up to my expectations. It was very interesting but it was the entertainment part of it that wasn’t quite what I expected.

14 juli, 2020 00:32@MrHenko For me it’s the way people talked about it, but our opinions seem to be similar. I expected a different thing, but can’t quite put my finger on it. Also found it very interesting, a great documentary, on a subject I like, set in a country I love, about the kind of work ethics I respect and would love to see in other places. It was just what I should be expecting, if I hadn’t listened to other people. Hard to explain, but I believe we’re on the same page.
