and tagged it with IndieWeb Moving my blog from a shared host to a VPS really improved its speed dramatically which in turn made blogging, especially photo blogging, a whole lot more fun.
I think the takeaway from that is that the indieweb needs to be as fast and easy to post to as the silos.

This photo seems like a good seasonal one, since the season is quite ambiguous here right now. The calendar says it’s fall but the sub-zero temperature and the frost and snow doesn’t seem to agree.

I had originally planned to make a similar photo with a mixing console that I introduced to my students today but time ran out and I needed to get home before the kids bedtime so this was the closest thing I could find in my office.

Today I’ve taken one of our cars, a Saab 9-3, to the repair shop for some service of the block heater. Important stuff when the Swedish winter is approaching.

I don’t think it’s the best tv show ever but certainly one of the most memorable.

I pass this wire pole almost everyday when I’m walking with Ebbe for his nap and I’m fascinated by how it looks. There something about it that reminds me of Twin Peaks: The Return.
Speaking of Twin Peaks: The Return, that is a show that I just can’t get out of my head. I think about it almost everyday, trying to make sense of it.
I don’t think it’s the best tv show ever but certainly one of the most memorable.

Turns out the problem with webmentions was due to my new VPS not having the mb_string extension for php installed and that caused the semantic linkbacks plugin to fail which in turn caused the webmentions plugin to do as well.

The only squares I’ve spent much time with today are the square keys of my MacBook Pro as I’m trying to figure out why my blog suddenly refuses to receive webmentions.
